The obligation to coordinate occupational health and safety matters rests with any natural or legal person who subcontracts all or part of the work to be carried out at a single workplace on their behalf; they must ensure that these subcontracted companies and self-employed workers comply with occupational health and safety regulations. Within the framework of this obligation, and depending on the specific role they assume in the event, they must put in place a corresponding level of coordination measures.
